Sauerkraut/Vegetable Fermenting Jar
This vitrified terracotta fermenting jar will hold a medium-cabbage in sauerkraut. It features a weighting ‘saucer’ that is easy to remove from the brine and a wide gallery for creating a water seal around the top.
Hand made by Rosemary O’Hara using a combination of handbuilding and wheel throwing and fired in her home kiln in Plimmerton New Zealand. Decorated with natural and coloured clay slips.
Please note – we are currently allowing pick up only from our shop, as pottery is difficult to send without breakages.
