Verdant offers a range of services including custom-made furnishings, homewares and upholstery, as well as an interior design and colour consultancy service.  We can also advise on ecologically friendly materials if you are building or renovating.

Verdant makes to order curtains, blinds and sunscreen shades, using all eco-friendly materials. We take care of the whole process for you. From the consultation, through to installation. We can do Roman Blinds, Roller Blinds, Honeycomb Blinds and Venetian Blinds, all using materials we have personally assessed to being the healthiest environmental option available.

Curtains

Our soft and full curtains are made from linens, hemps, wools and organic cottons. We regularly use a three layer system of fabric and linings to help insulate your windows, including a 100% Organic Hemp Twill. We use a washable curtain lining that can either be sewn in or detachable for easy washing. We have a wide range of fabrics to select from, including our organic collections.  Our curtains are both ecologically responsible and a beautiful component to any room. Upholstery

Whether it is a bargain you picked up from the local sallies or your grandfather’s old chair we can restore, reupholster and update your piece, using natural and recycled materials and organic & New Zealand made fabrics.  We use natural latex rubber foam, NZ wool, recycled fibre and can re spring and re pad your piece.  If you are after a particular item we can source it for you.
Homewares

Homewares

Verdant provides you with a beautiful range of eco friendly homewares and organic gifts. From your choice of cushions, bedding, lampshades and towels. All made from natural and organic materials. A selection are hand-printed onto a range of sustainable and organic textiles, including whimsical prints from Ink & Spindle, and bird and botanical prints from Eco Fabric. If you would like to sew cushions yourself, cushion panels are available on selected fabrics. If there is something you would like in a particular fabric, please contact us for more information.
