Cotton Bumf | Unbleached

Description

Cotton Bumf is an extra layer of fabric that sits in between the front fabric, and the lining.

It is perfect for windows that are single glazed as it provides an extra layer of insulation.

Ours is made from unbleached cotton. We pre-wash this fabric in New Zealand, so it won’t shrink when you come to wash your curtains. It is also a heavier weight than most at 255gsm. This means because the threads are closer together, it will make it far warmer than other cotton bumfs on the market, which run around 150gsm.

We are still on the search for an organic version. But until we find one, this unbleached version doesn’t off-gas like some of the white bleached ones we have come across.

Small quantities are available in our shop, the rest is stored off-site. Please allow 1-2 weeks delivery. 

Please note it is not suitable for use as the back layer of your curtains.
